There are many different ways to publish content on the Internet and I just wanted to touch on a way that people are able to publish on the GitHub.com, Amazon Web Services or just a stand alone HTTP Web Server. I can say that after working with it with publishing my old Tech blog that you need to be kind of tech savvy in order to get things up and running correctly, let alone be able to publish your site and have it served out correctly. So what I would like to do is just do a simple walk through on the process of getting setup and the different ways that you can compose your post or pages with Jekyll.

The following are setup instructions for the operating systems that I utilize on a daily basis. I want to be able to compose and submit from any machine that I use. The nice thing about utilizing GitHub.com to publish my blog is that first, its free (that’s always a bonus) and second is that I can sync any machine with the latest changes that I have submitted to my repository. I will explain more in detail about my _drafts folder and how I keep that placed in a secured environment as that there may be articles that I am working on and don’t want available to the public just yet. So enough jabber on with the the configurations.
